Nick Fish

Nick Fish is President of American Atheists, the national civil rights organisation representing atheists, humanists and other nonreligious Americans. A Michigan native with a political science degree from Albion College, he has spent more than 15 years working in civil rights and religious equality advocacy, starting with voter outreach in North Carolina ahead of the 2008 election and later working in donor relations and communications, including at the Secular Coalition for America. He joined American Atheists as Development Director, then National Program Director, and became President in 2018. He created the organisation's AtheistVoter campaign and is a frequent media spokesperson for the nonreligious, appearing on Fox News and quoted in The Washington Post, CNN, Time and the Associated Press.
